To clean a toilet, drop in two Alka Seltzer tablets, wait 20 minutes, brush and flush!

Fascinating! I wonder why that would work?

Don't know why it works, just know it does! I've known about it for some time but didn't post the idea on here 'til now. And lip balm is supposed to be good for healing fingernails. But that hasn't proven out, as yet!

I'm not sure I want to eat or drink anything that can clean my toilet!!

Hmmm. Well I don't buy the stuff, so no worries on my part with regard to consuming something that is strong enough to clean my toilet. But that is a great point!!

I had the same thought. But WB takes that stuff all the time because he can't swallow pills very well. Well, here's something for the Food and Drug Administration to mull over.

So far there are NO bad side effects listed from taking Alka Seltzer, and it does the job.

I have heard of dropping an Alka seltzer into the tank in back and letting it dissolve thus cleaning the bowl when one flushes.
