JJ thanks for your help finding my new avatar... It shows both my animal side, and ladies, notice he is wearing a crocheted vest! Now if only he had a chef's hat on, that would be me to a tee....

From a somewhat compute savvy girl comes a very embarrassing question on this whole picture avatar thing. How does a picture get a url? I have photos at an online thing called Photoworks but if I try to do anything with it I have to save it as a file or email it. Other than that I have no idea. Queen I know that you sent the "how to" way back when but obviously that was too advanced for this chick.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks much

Let me ask you something....if you put your mouse over the pictures you have online and do a "right click" do you see in the list of items that pop up, one called PROPERTIES? If so, highlight that and you should see a URL.

I've never heard of photoworks. But I usually upload my pictures from my harddrive to Photobucket. You might want to get a free account there.

I signed up for a free account at Photobucket (www.photobucket.com) so I could upload pictures, and they have a place where you can create an avatar for free........I created the one of myself, it was fun, kind of like shopping, you get to look thru many hairstyles, accessories, clothes, backgrounds, etc to create the image you want. My avatar looks very much like the real me! And you can save it, go back later and change it, whatever. They have animated ones too.
