So much for my retirement at least for a week or so. My dear Uncle John who just had a hip replaced and is in his late 80's just finished his accounting of the World Wars he fought in. He gave our country 33 years of his life in the Air Force. Now how could I say no to him? I ask you!

I will be editing and rewriting what needs it but only working three days a week and then only 4/5 hours those days. Still plenty of time for fun, games and relaxation...

Thanks Anno and everyone, and 0h if you are a regular client of mine I will still work on your manuscripts, just not taking new clients off the internet so killed my website...

The fun never ends, but what a great project, and for a family member. Nothing like preserving family memories!

Congratulations Chatty! Taking time for yourself and Sassy is so
important. I was glad to see that you'll be editing stuff for
regular clients. I'm never in a rush anymore, either. I like to
get the most out of each day. God bless and have fun doing whatever you're doing!!! Blessings!

I am loving having time in the morning for my coffee, checking my email, getting back in touch here, writing my blog more often - then around 10 AM getting ready for the remainder of the day. S-L-O-W living, that's the life for me.

I don't think a day goes by without me imagining being retired. I am so ready. A sure sign for me, is even when business is good, and it's very good right now, even then, I am tired of it, and would like to stop. I figure on two more years. Then I have enough saved, so that our monthly budget is enough for us to enjoy our retirement, and travel; - just like you are doing.

The thing I am enjoying the most is not so much running around doing many things but knowing I don't have to do anything I'd rather not be bothered with. FREEDOM is intoxicating!!!

Chatty,
I second that notion, FREEDOM is intoxicating! If you don't want to do something, then you can do something else. Gotta love it!

Anno...hppy to read your S-L-O-W days are enjoyable.

I also can get up early and set to busily when the need arises..

Time is precious..every day is a bonus...as my wise old friend told me so often..bless him.now at rest after a busy life as a miner and expert gardener

I will say, Edelweiss, that I retired earlier than I expected. I just knew that I could not do both work and take care of Dennis. Finances are a bit worrisome for me, but I can always take on jobs subbing in schools if I must.

FREEDOM - Yes, I so agree!

You are so right, MA. Everyday is a time to be treasured.
