Had a bladder infection for two weeks but was determined to cure it w/out a drug.

Asked a friend who knows much about herbs. She had me drink a tea of Uva Ursi and with ONE cup I was cured. Added a tsp of honey for it to be palatable. I'm totally impressed.

Cranberry Juice was also part of my diet. She said that the unsweetened kind is best as sugar is an inhibitor, but I had the concentrate on hand which was fine.

Ever hear of this herb? Here's a link. You'll need to scroll all the way down toward the bottom, or do a "find' on the page for Uva Ursi.

Had this from a natutopath..a little flower with great power.
Another superb cure is Mannose..waterfall.
Made from the bark of trees this product makes the bladder bug stick to it and be expelled..same naturopath gave me this.
Others who use it also report great results..pet owners too with elderly pets say it works likewise.Dogs dont lie...

Di, heard of it, used it, and it works wonders and there are "NO" side effects as with medical drugs.

If people would take the time to read up on natural plants, herbs and flowers they wouldn't believe the wonders we have right here among us and they are not just miracles they are also sooooo inexpensive.

Yes, I believe God made these plants. And if we discover that they work for our health, then our Great Physician knew more than we thought!

I always go for the natural remedies first, no matter what. My partner had a medical issue a while ago; his doctor wanted to do surgery. Instead, we checked Dr Andrew Weil's site, tried what he suggested, and it worked, and he hasn't had a problem since. There are other sites for natural remedies out there, but some of them are just trying to sell stuff. Dr Weil has been around for years, is a Harvard-trained physician, and an ethnobotanist. He has been recommending certain remedies and supplements for years; but only recently has the scientific research proved that he is right. He has changed some of his recommendations over the years, but the basic premise hasn't changed. I highly recommend his book: 8 Weeks to Optimum Health, as well as his book on healthy aging.
