What a wake up call! Of course, had no idea what the movie was about thinking it was about a bunch of cars of the Interstate who "crash" into each other This is a totally different way of "crashing" into each other, and I must say it really opens up your eyes. Anyway, it did mine. I bought the DVD to watch again. Very impressive movie! Lynne

I also assumed it was about fast cars and crashing! Thanks for the recommendation. It's hard to find decent movies to watch. I'll check this one out. Tonight, we're taking the kids to see Ice Age II. Hope has never been to the movies and the other two haven't been since 2003!

We loved Crash....so interesting!
Watch it again and again (the dvd) because each time you watch it, you'll pick up things you did not pick up or perceive the first time you saw it.
This is a movie that moves everyone who watches it in one way or another.

Dotsie, the more I travel to different countries or different states, the more I find that we humans are so much alike no matter what.
Due to my parents being in the military, I traveled since birth and was used to any type of "diversity" from an early age. Therefore, early on it bothered me to hear of any type of racism.
Like you, I pay attention to racial issues more or less. In addition, here in Hawaii there is alot of diversity due to our ancestors coming from Europe, Asia and the Pacific.
Intermarriage is the norm here; my grandkids know better than to ask me what nationalities they have in them...takes me a long time to answer LOL!
