I passed it on to my daughter who is an avid reader and she felt the same. Didn't know there was a movie coming....great! But so often, we readers never feel that the movie does the book justice. Sue Monk Kidd has also written a non-fiction book that is worth mentioning. Eagle and I have both read it. Such an amazing story of her journey and how she challenged all her belief systems and how it reshaped her life when she started questioning everything.
