Okay. Wal-Mart is bragging about increasing wages of 1.2 million employees. But at the same time they're closing over 154 stores in the US and 269 worldwide. So look at all the people who'll be out of work. What kind of sense does this make??? confused

Answered my own question, guys. Thank you just the same. It seems big companies shut down existing businesses as a tax write-off and then turn around reopen new stores. Problem is they don't care or consider the damaged done to small mom and pop shops or tiny towns that suffer because of their practices. That's life. This is what I was told by folks' in the know. If it's wrong. It's wrong.
