chatty lady Writer Registered: 02/24/04 Posts: 20267 Loc: Nevada	Tonight Friday the 21st. Dianne Sawyer on ABC will host a program she says every single step parent or child should see. Statics now show that 30% of all homes are a step situation of some kind and by the time we boomers pass on it will be well above 50%.....She herself is a step mother and said this probgram literally blew her away but that there is hope...Thought it might interest some of you ladies.

It was a wonder these parents were not arrested for there abuse of the older girl. I found this very distrubing about these two adults . I hope that is girl stays with her grandparents . These parents need counseling of there children. I could hardley sleep last night the show upset me so. Renee

Anonymous Unregistered	I didn't see the show, yet I was a step-parent while married and also have step-siblings and parents myself. I did not like being a step-parent b/c of the different values between the families, especially since my now ex-husband's (I was his 3rd wife) ex-wife had been married 5X. It was very difficult to instill values in a child when their biological parents would rather act like a child themselves.

I mean strict guidelines by as many men as women on a panel. Getting married is to darn easy and thats the root of all the problems right there, all the problems....
