Anybody on here ever converted Word files to pdf? If so, do you mind telling me what program you used? I'm researching them now and would love feedback.

Thanks in advance,

JJ

JJ, In my job as a computer network admin, I worked with a lot of graphic artists in an advertising company. They often had to convert different files to pdf for their clients, and used Adobe Acrobat, the professional version. Many of us are familiar with the Acrobat reader, but Adobe's full-version actually converts documents to pdf's. It's available for both PC's and Mac's.

You can check it out at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/main.html
and if you Google "Adobe Acrobat Review" you should get good unbiased reviews of the product (and comparisons with other products). PC Magazine and ZDNet reviews are usually highly reliable.

PS http://www.epinions.com/ is another great place to get product reviews, not just for software but for just about anything...everything from household appliances to hotels!

JJ, I do this all the time. It's just as Eagle Heart says, and you can use the process with just about any program.

It's also very easy - once it's set up, all you do is "print" to acrobat instead of your real printer and it saves the file as a pdf.

Let me know if you have questions!
Kathy
