I'm not sure if this is a virus or what exactly, but beware of an email supposedly from the Better Business Bureau. Our CFO got one the other day. It says a complaint has been filed against your company and gives you a link to go to to find out more about the complaint and what to do. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK!! She did and said it wouldn't open. It looked very authentic, (except for the link, I thought). She sent it to my boss who asked the IT person. She said don't open it and they had me check the BBB. On their website was an alert about it. I called and was told someone had hacked into their system and was doing this.

It didn't do any damage to my pc or my boss, but the CFO had all sorts of strange stuff going on and we had to have someone come in to fix it and had to replace her pc.

If you have a business email address, beware! It was very costly.

Jane, these people are thinking with criminal intent trying to get information that will allow them to make illegal money. We all have to be careful. I won't even give my doctors or dental professionals my SS#. I can't figure out why they even ask for it.
