Calling all writers, or non writers, we need a new interesting story here for all to read. Someone must have something going on to write about. Maybe Dotsie could write about her new endeavor if she has decided on one. How about it ladies...

I don't have a new endeavor yet. I'm letting the spirit lead me. For now, I'm still turning things over to Anne and Steve.

I'm looking forward to getting my house and garden in order and having time to catch up with family and friends. In April, I'm having lunch with a gal who started a shelter for women in the city. I'm feeling pulled to do something for women, and possibly women and children in Baltimore City. Time and prayer will tell the direction I definitely take. Meantime, I was asked to serve on the Session at our church which I've decided to accept. It's a three year commitment which I'll take seriously. Ross and I have also planned a couple trips for the spring and summer. But none of this is worthy of a story. HA!

Taking your time and letting the Spirit lead you is perfect! You never know what you might encounter on one of your trips. And the same with the service on the Session.

I recall Steve and I took a cruise that left from Miami a few years ago, and it just happened that we were scheduled to leave just days after a big hurricane hit. I can't recall the storm's name at the moment, but this we shortly post-Katrina...

I remember realizing that our fellow cruise-mates were somehow "different" than usual. They were a lot louder, seemed not to go off on the shore excursions, and quite frankly, many of them had terrible table manners.

All was revealed to me by the end of the trip, when I discovered that many of these folks were Miami natives, who had been displaced by the storm. The City had no place to put them, while meanwhile, hundreds of people had canceled their cruise reservations for one reason or another.

Voila! The City of Miami's decision was to put these displaced people on cruise ships and send them out of the city for awhile until electricity was on again, etc.

So you never know who you will meet on your trips -- or how that might lead you to some future mission.

There's no reason you have to rush into something. Let the right "something" come to you! Steve and I are clear that's what happened when we met Judith Sherven at a conference last December. As you know, it was through that serendipitous meeting that we ended up buying these wonderful sites from you!

Thanks Anne. I'm excited because BWS was launched through prayer for a passion other than my family. I'm curious to see where God will lead me, but I'm taking my time and enjoying my time.
