Does anyone remember the very first time they shaved their legs? Were you at near ape status or just a bit fuzzy? Electric shaver or razor or cream remover? Did they even have those creams way back then,LOL!!!

I started with a Razor and shaving cream. Then I realized that soap, all lathered up, did the same. I had an electric razor for a brief period of time, but never felt like it did that great of a job.

I never used Nair but I recall my older sister using it. Boy did the stuff smell!

I sure DO remember the first time I shaved my legs! And let me just say....OOOWWW! I was about 12 or 13 and decided I would shave my legs using my dad's razor. He had one of those shaving cups with a brush, and he used a straight edge razor which was really sharp! Lord have Mercy, the first swipe up my leg I shaved the hyde right off my shin.

Ouch is right, you poor dear. This is going to sound odd and I guess it is but, I have never shaved my legs. NO! I do not look like Bigfoot. I waited and waited to begin shaving like all my friends and Mom and Aunts, but no hair ever grew there. I have never had to shave under my arms either. I have thin, fine hair on my head but alot of it. Been checked by doctors who simply tell me to enjoy it. Now my secret is out, I have a bald body (well almost.) he, he, he!

I have a horrible leg-shaving memory. I had been shaving for a couple of years, and was on the swim team in high school. I had just finished swimming and was laying on my stomach on a towel. A girl came up to me and asked if I knew about the long hairs on the back of my thighs.

Apparently all the time I had been shaving, I didn't even once think about the backs of my thighs and no one had ever told me before. I was so naive and so embarrassed, but glad that someone finally told me!

Now I'm so diligent when I shave that I hog the shower for about 20 minutes...

And by the way, Chatty, I must have gotten your hair! I was always the hairiest of my girlfriends, although my hair was light so that helped a little.

I don't remember when I started shaving my legs but I could definitely remember shaving sister no. 3's legs the first summer I spent at home. I was 17. She was 15 and sister no. 2 (who was 16 at that time) had started to call her "yeti".

Chatty, you are so lucky. I remember my first time. I was 13. My mother was watching me and said "You'll be sorry..." I have more hair on my legs now than I did then. The prednisone I take is a good part of the reason. The side effects of this drug just keep on coming!

Chatty, you got me laughing out loud, again. Now here is something strange: my Hubby is losing the hair on his legs. They are as smooth as a baby's butt. I wish I'd get that! I still got to shave every week.

Nice to "SEE" you Saundra!
