Celtic try to get advice from someone professional. I made so many mistakes because I didn't do that. In the long wrong it pays off and saves you time and hassle.

Celtic, I have been a web developer for more than 12 years, and have built a few ecommerce sites. I'm not sure if the company I used in the US is available in the UK, but I would imagine it is and if you're interested I can direct you to them. It's an online solution that is not too hard, once you have the site set up and working the way you want. It's quite easy to add, change, remove content, photos, etc. It also has built in SEO features. (Search Engine Optimization).

What are you selling? How many products will you have? Will those products have options? (sizes, colors, etc) Do you have good photos of your products - - they will not sell without great pics. How do you plan to market your site? It's not a matter of "If you build it they will come" - - it can be tough and expensive to drive traffic to your site. How will you ship? What payment methods will you accept?

There are so many things you need to ask yourself BEFORE you begin, otherwise you spend a lot of time and money changing things over and over again. Get a plan together, check out competitor web sites for ideas, think about the pages that are necessary for your site (Home, Contact, Products, About Us, etc, etc) Plan your colors; most nice looking sites have two basic colors with an accent color. More than three colors can make the site too busy and hard on the eyes.

Hope this helps!! Let me know if you want more tips.

i just spilled my guts about the whole idea forgetting we aint having a wee private chit chat....

in summery
want my family to be up on everyone elsees bussness as a lot of them aint talking to each other....this is my side ways thinking as i know it killing them not knowing or being cut outa folks life...might make it worse might make it better.
i gonna sell some stuff.;).... kind of to a special market. So hoping or ideal is web page for family info, Or can i creat a blog and link it to my web page?, would a linked blog be better? certinly feels bit more profesional,my thinking tells me thrs pros and cons about this.

plz tell me your contact kathie i share with you privatlie about it my side of things

qu!
how many pages are their for 5g of space???is thir a universal converter, how much space dose 1 web page use, or is it dependent on volume of content?

like-wise EW i gladlie share or swoop info with you too. I not sure i be any good to you as you are their and i am not so i am pretie useless reallie.

lastlie i the one researching this for po as well.

my studie cost for next yr £23,000!i best get it right now, so have time to buil rep etc and generate income as studie commitments means a lot of additional hours spent doing work unpayed to gain accreaditasion. L needs a specalist child minder.

No grant at phd level of studie
L needs a personal spacialist type of childneeminder, if i could cope i go do that bissness myself as thirs loads of cash involved.

So its important enough now....so i don't wanna wast cash, time, effort by not doing it well.Or messing it up for next yr

ONE A LIGHTER NOTE wink
i KNOW need a spell cheeker (physical person) for web stuff bit like you having to tell me "you smell a bit" lol i know about how important it is..
unless some poor soul reading might think think they uncovered some underlying html text or new computer jargone lol ;)and its only my bad spelling.
phew...

oh sorry for all post and edited ones , i said too much personal wise and too much about bisness...the dits are this one and next lot of stuff that ws related.

hopefullie others intrested will come contact you privatlie but also do a gneral post about their stuff?

thanks for advice and offers ladies wink
and again pheww lol!
