Just finished reading the aforementioned while waiting to get
O'Reilly's "Killing Jesus" which I'm now reading. I've read his "Killing Lincoln" and want to read "Killing Kennedy" after this. And I read "Bold, Fresh." Any of you, read any of these?
If so, what's your take? confused laugh

I've read all of Austen's books. I loved them when I was younger and haven't read them in quite a while. If you liked P & P, you might like PD James' Death at Pemberly.

Actually, I wasn't that impressed with P&P. But wondered what other folks' thought of it. After I finish, "Killing Jesus" and "Killing Kennedy" perhaps I'll try "Death at Pemberly." It seems as though one of the estates in P&P was named Pemberly?
It's funny how an author will latch onto a name and carry it throughout their books. Human nature I guess. Hope you're doing okay and hanging in there, yonuh! Prayers and blessings...

Austen's work can be word-heavy, as are most novels from that era. Death at Pemberly is written by P.D. James who writes murder mysteries, and I love her work. I got hooked when one of her novels was adapted by BBC and shown on PBS. If you like murder mysteries, you might like her work.

I really enjoyed "Murder She Wrote" and "Diagnosis Murder" TV shows and was disappointed when they were cancelled. Haven't read many mysteries but am always open for new experiences, within reason....lol...
