Meredith sent a package to Dennis and it arrived today. It's a box full of cuttings of plants from her rock garden full of desert type plants. She even sent along planting materials!

I put this in going green, because I have not been able to have indoor plants for a while because of lighting issues in our old home. Now we have tons of light and once again plants will thrive, cleaning our indoor air. How wonderful.

Thank you Meredith, this was very, very thoughtful. Dennis is pleased and he is looking forward to having some of his favorite plants in his office.

I feel so blessed having met so many girlfriends here at BWS. Thank you one and all for the many ways you have reached out to both Dennis and me this past few months. I can't possibly put into words how wonderful this makes both of us feel. Cards, emails, kind words, a lapghan and now plants that we can cherish for many years.

Meredith you are a wonderful and thoughtful lady. Notnhing picks up a persons spirits like watching a living, blooming plant. Its like seeing ourselves reborn yet again...

When I went away to college, in addition to the pre-requisite 2 sheets and 3 saucepans, my mother packaged a large box of plants. Her comment: "Plants make a house into a home."

I knew how hard the move was for both of you. And you know how much ALL of us at BWS care about you and Dennis.

Isn't it wonderful to know, that no matter how far we live apart, we still can love each other? I am convinced that the computer age is actually capable of bringing people closer together than more isolated, as many people will state.

I am blessed to be a small part of such a beautiful community.

I think the computer age will not let us be lonely in our old age. I wish Mom had the opportunity to connect with her 'sisters' when she was living alone in her golden years.

I met Meredith and felt an instant connection to her. Can't do that with everyone you meet for the first time. She's a jewel. How kind of her to send friendship plants. Hugs Meredith.
