Have ya'll used the new flameless candles? I saw one at Target tonight that is pumpkin spice and with 2 AA batteries will 'burn' for 300 hours and has a timer up to 4 hours. Do these candles actually have a scent?

I've not tried them, Mustang, though I have seen them in stores.

It has been my impression that somehow the small amount of heat given off by the battery-powered light DOES cause a scent to be released. But to be honest, I dunno for sure...

I used flameless candles for the first time last year at Halloween. I carved up a couple of fake pumpkins (from JoAnn Fabrics) and the fake tea candles worked great in them. Of course, neither the pumpkins nor the candles were as good as the real thing would have been!
