Jesse Jackson is correct that unemployment here in Illinois is still high and our governor doesn't seem to be doing anything effective. Except raise taxes. They just voted to more than double the income tax in the state, and they also had a plan to tax income earned online, which means that many entities like Amazon will no longer allow Illinois residents to be affiliates... Not sure if that one has been made law yet or not. I know we sent our congressman a letter explaining why it was not a good idea... MustangGal Unregistered	Anne, thats exactly the point. Politicians are not listening and we hope that by entering resumes into the congressional record will bring forth the reality of millions of people out of work. The news reports that the reason unemployment declined is b/c people stopped looking for work. Well, that's just bull hockey -- its because their benefits exhausted and the 99ers are desperate. Folks are becoming homeless, families splitting up, foreclosures, forced into retirement, and no on wants to hire someone unemployed. Edited by MustangGal (01/14/11 04:57 PM)
