They are really crackiing down on anyone NOT wearing seat belts and the fines are all over $50.00. They have talked about it for a long time but now they are emforcing the rule big time... What about in your neck of the woods, do you have seat belt laws???

We've always worn seat belts ever since they were invented.
And yes! They're cracking down and enforcing the use of these
life-saving devices. And I agree. They should!

Yes, we have seat belt laws, but I'm not sure what they are. I always buckle up and make everyone else in the car buckle up, too; even the dogs get buckled in. I just wish more places would make it illegal for kids and dogs to be in the bed of a pickup truck!

I totally agree! Kids and dogs in the bed of pickup trucks should NOT be allowed. Why people do that is beyond comprehension. I hate that!

Wow, kids in the flatbed of a truck??? I've never seen/heard of that....it sounds like a bunch of really uninformed drivers. Stupid.
It's like allowing children to operate gas-fueled/large farm equipment. Just totally stupid and dangerous.

Dogs in the back of pick-ups is also stupid! And surely agree that kids in the back of a truck is above and beyond stupid!

Another thing that's stupid is when someone stands up in back of a limo with half their body sticking out the center window. People have been killed when something hits them in the head or someone throws something at them... It happens to drunks alot here in town...

I agree. It's stupid. Alcohol has a way of making folks' do dumb things. Riding a motorcycle without a helmet is another stupid idea. IMHO! In some states it's a law to wear a helmet riding bikes and motorcycles but in other states it isn't. In Florida, during Bike [motorcycle] week, there are way too many cyclists killed. And many of them don't wear helmets. Drivers are crazy down there anyhow. They weave in and out without using turning signals, both cyclists and automobiles. It's unnerving! On straight, dry roads there are accidents after accidents. It's nuts! And what a waste of life!
