Thanks ... I think

Thanks ... I think - 04/15/04 07:33 AM

Just wanted to stop in and try to find the original posting -- I thought it was at this site -- that mentioned www.AbsoluteWrite.com

I think it was Dotsie, but anyway, now I can't find it.

But reading it did prompt me to check out the site and eventually submit a column/article. They accepted my submission and it appears in this week's newsletter as their "First Person" feature.

So .., thanks!

Garrie,
Great job on the article. I tend to be lost in space at times too! Always have pen and paper around so I don't forget what runs through my mind at the craziest times.
Jenna does a great job with her site and promoting writers.

Another one for you to check out is Moira Allen at www.writingworld.com.

I frequent many writing sites. I often see both of their sites mentioned. Also see articles written by them on other sites too. They really work the internet!

How do they find the time?

Hi, I have a couple of new sites for writer...

One is a contest at: www.Twbookmark.com/

Two is: www.woodenhorsepub.com/
this one has so many sites for writers I finally just put it into Favorites to be able to stop writing. [Razz]

Chatty, the TW site is great for contests. I printed one that writer Matt Christopher is doing. He writes books about kids and sports. My oldest son was a huge fan of his.

You can win two tickets to spring training (baseball in Florida with the pros), something my husband has wanted to do for years.

My husband isn't a writer but I bet he'l scratch something out. He has a gazillion baseball memories and maybe one could be a winner.

For those of you who like to enter contests be sure to checl out that site.

The other is great if you write for magazines. It lists many new ones coming out on the market. I think it's good to submit to new magazines because if they like your work you may get in on the ground floor and become a columnist. Also, new magazines are looking for new writers!

Thanks Chatty!
