You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.

Re: Good quote - 06/16/10 03:37 AM

Being a coach, a writer AND a calligrapher, I save a LOT of good quotes. In fact, I had to laugh because I used a quote so often and thought I was quoting someone else, but it turned out to be MY original quote! Here it is:
If you don't know where you're going, you may end up in the wrong place!

I use this quote in my chapter in the upcoming book: Align, Expand and Succeed. You can read tips from the contributing authors on this website: www.consciousbusinesstips.com

I'll add some others in the coming days!

Welcome Lianda!
Love that quote, "If you don't know where you're going, you may
end up in the wrong place." And who would want to change anything that's going well??? Love it.

Welcome Lianda. Good to have you here!

I've heard something similar to your quote:
"If you don't know where you're going you are already there!"

I like that Songbird. There's a lot of truth in that statement! My grandmother never stopped laughing. At age 84
she was still giggling and flirting with the men.

What a happy grandma!

That quote is a good reminder of how important it is to enjoy every moment and look at the bright side of life, the funny side... that we may live healthier and longer.

Re: Good quote - 06/28/10 01:43 PM

Dear friends, God is amazing. Yes, a lot has happened since I first started posting on BWS. The Lord has given me the privilege of serving Him through writing, composing, singing, praying, motivating others and speaking too!

I have always a lot on my plate! Always busy... Inspiring others through the written, spoken and sung word of God. And the prayer ministry continues to grow and reach new heights. I praise the Lord for that. Never imagined His plans for my life. But I trust that He knows why.

My prayer was and continues to be: Lord, please fulfill your purpose for my life (Psalm 138:8).

Through trials and sorrows He's led me and never let me down. I trust Him. I praise Him and thank Him for the opportunity to serve in whatever way He deems best.

The encouragement found in this forum has also been instrumental in achieving God's purpose for my life. That's why, even if not so often, I always need to come back and share now and then with BWS family.

Blessings to Dotsie and each BWS member.
