If you were to select which of these, Rosa Parks, Harriett Tubman, Eleanor Roosevelt or Susand B. Anthony, would be pictured on the new ten dollar bill, which would it be?

My vote goes to Harriet "Minty" Tubman; she overcame the most hardship and helped many people during her lifetime. smile

Are those women the official choices, Jabber?

Yes. This is what the media is reporting.

Well, I think not Susan B. She's already been on a coin, right? But I'm open to any of the others. Isn't Rosa Parks still living? I thought you had to be dead to get selected for being on money.

I read somewhere that Rosa Parks died almost 10 years ago. Everybody knows she was a civil rights activist but IMHO her claim to fame seems to be refusing to surrender her bus seat to a white person. Eleanor would be my second choice.
