Alaskan Cruise

One way I keep Dennis alive is by planning trips. We just booked an Alaskan cruise to see the inside passage.

A few years ago, Dennis and I took a trip to Alaska and visited the interior, so this will be new and different - more glaciers, whale watches and lots of ocean.

We leave August 21, the same day the teaches in Minneapolis must return to work! Talk about a perfect retirement present to myself as well as motivation for Dennis to keep on going.

Anno, I just got to tell you this again! You are one in a million.

The cruise sounds HEAVENLY! You and Dennis will love, love, love it!

And (a big AND) we are taking his number one PCA with us this time! It will be so nice to have someone share the work with me.

Anno, would you mind sharing the destinations? I would love to hear where all you'll be.

It's the glacier run - Ketchikan (famous for totem poles), Juneau, Sawyer Glacier, Skagway Glacier and Prince Rubert (Canada). We start in Seattle and have two days at sea.

Oh how I wish I were doing this. The country is amazing and breathtaking. Have a grand time!

only seen this area on TV but it is so wonderfully aloof from the everyday grind..traffic noise..crowds..

I have cruised the coastline of northern British Columbia. It's just as wild/green as Alaska.

Orchid, I believe we are cruising past British Columbia - on the return trip, perhaps?

No, Orchid, we are stopping at Prince Rupert. I want to get to Vancouver soon, though.
