great pics and article, Orchid! Of the farmers' markets you mentioned, I've been to Hilo and Granville. Since I work at Hollywood Farmers' Market 40 weekends a year, I've been sold on the superior produce for a long time.

I loved the pics Orchid of the markets especially trhat one in germany, and sent them to TWITTER so everyone can enjoy them. Great picrures!! I didn't know you had been to so many countries, how cool is that!!!

A farmers market is always a feast for the eyes. I enjoyed the market in Vancouver also.

Markets, if you know them, can be cuddly kind of places during the winter. Well, if there's hot chocolate, coffee, even better.
