Can I whine?

Can I whine? - 01/18/05 12:05 AM

I know I am having empty nest sydrome, San Diego has claimed a daughter in law and 2 granddaughters, but they are with my son, still hurts.

Daughter Heather has moved out and is across town, but she is at least close. Miss the kids in a real bad way.

Work is giving me a hard time about being out with acute bronchitus for 7 work days, and I just received an e-mail that I was not being accepted for the early retirement.

Still not feeling 100% either but am on the mend.

Sorry, just wanted to vent some.

Sherri, now what do you do since you weren't accepted for early retirement?

Visit us when you feel lonely and miss the kids/grandkids. [Wink]

Dotsie,

Right now I am holding on to hope and lots of prayers going up that they will finally get down to me. There are only 12 union people who haven't received their voluntary retirement. I have an out, I can retire anytime I want to, but don't want to jump the gun and miss out on the seperation pay. Need it to pay off some bills, so I can concentrate totally on my writing.

I am ok with that, I am hanging on, and now that the kids and Heather are not here, I am a lot calmer...miss them though, and Katie and Kellianne.

I had to pick myself up, shake myself a little bit and look for the positive!!
