Chatty, I read in another forum that you were taking in more animals. How's it going?

Just fine and dandy Dotsie. Once mother cat, I call her Delilah, got use to my Yorkie, Rosee, wanting to get in the bed with her and her babies all has been quiet. They seem to be happy with one another. The babies are still too young to move around much but the fun will start when they can crawl out of the bed and begin exploring the house. I adore kittens and all their antics so I am looking forward to that. I am on the list for Chihuahuas too if they can't fine enough homes for them. Never a dull moment here at Casa Crazy...

Chatty,
Casa Crazy sounds like a fun place. Back on the farm, daddy's haymow was home to lots of newborn kittens. They are cute little
tikes. With Yorkies and Chihuahuas too you should have a grand
ole time!

One of my fondest memories of a great aunt was arriving at her old, leaning, farm house at night while at least 20 pairs of eyes glowed in the night from under her porch! It was always a treat to sleep in the feather bed in the front bedroom, knowing that dozens of cats were asleep under that porch. I would awake and would be so excited at attempts to catch them, many were ferrell. Chickens would roam the yard and horses in the back pasture.

She lived a simple life with no central HVAC with hand-me-downs, never married, no children. Yet, somehow I imagine she had more than I could ever imagine.

Aw, memories. How sweet some childhood memories are. Some are not so sweet, but the animal stories are generally cool!

Chatty, do you still have two dogs? I can picture her trying to sleep with the kittens. How sweet is that?

I have two adorabloe Yorkshire Terriers, they will be eleven in February. They are so small. No my Rosee loves all other animals and tries to baby anything I bring home. Reeta is a bossy brat and she gives new animals in the house her disapproval. She's queen bee and they had better know that. Too funny to watch...

I still would love to have a bird like Dianne's Sammie, she is a real hoot.

If I ever see one up for adoption, I'll let you know. Sammie now says in a baby voice, "You okay?"
