Commenting on blog...

There are times when I want to post a comment on a friend's
blog but none of the drop-choices allow me the to do that.
Any suggestions! WB changed my home page from google to
verizon and now I can't post on the chosen blog. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

Jabber, I am not sure I know enough to reply.

Do you have a gmail account? Usually they are one of the acceptable forms that I have seen for replies, and gmail is free. I have an account there just for use like this when I need an account with a major email service like Wordpress or AOL or Google, etc. to reply.

Does this help in your situation?

At your suggestion, I just opened a gmail account. I'll see if that works on Chatty's blog. Thanks for the info!

After I opened the gmail, Verizon/Yahoo wouldn't let me into
my email unless I upgraded with them. Geese! The competition is
fierce out there.

Commenting on Chatty's blog still isn't working for me. First
Google wants an update, then Verizon wants an update, now my
FB account isn't working. Good grief!!!

Can any of you techies help me figure out what to do! I believe I've tried every one of her access list, listed. What now?

I have posted comments onto Chatty's blog in the past, using my Gmail address, which came through showing up as a comment from Blogger. Which didn't make sense to me, but since it worked, I left it that way.

But I think you can use your yahoo account -- just select the "Open ID" option. I don't have a Yahoo account to try this with, but I tried putting my "@anneholmes.com" email address in that way, and it looked like it would let me proceed.

Give that a try. If you still encounter challenges, let me know. Send me a PM with the post you want to put on her blog, and I will try to post it for you.

very hot and muggy here the past 2 days. We had a severe thunder storm early this morning, and it sounded as if lightning hit close by. It's still muggy but they're forecasting cooler temps beginning tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

WB said he didn't change our home page; so somebody is messing
around. I haven't got time to read a ton of stuff and figure out
what the heck is going on. But I'll keep at it. Not one to
give up without a fight! LOL...

Good luck! Someone tried to change the front page of one of my sites about a year ago. I hate it when that happens. In that case the Boomer Lifestyle site got temporarily turned into a site about infants.
