Interview with Mary Hogan, author of The Serious Kiss

Interview with Mary Hogan, author of The Serious Kiss - 04/06/05 09:20 AM

Mary Hogan is a very fun gal and she's written a great book for young adults (and adults). I found it laugh-out-loud funny and poignant at the same time as young, coming-of-age Libby Madrigal sets out in pursuit of her first serious kiss. But her Dysfunctional family, with a capital D, gets in the way. Throw in a move to a retirement park, a shivering, neurotic dog, and Hogan has produced a sure winner. She reminds me a bit of Janet Evanovitch without all the swearing. Review and Interview - Mary Hogan, author of The Serious Kiss

Great interview and review Dian. The book really sounds like a fun read. I'm going to add it to my "GOTTA READ THIS SOON" list...how can I resist after reading that review?!?!?!

I sleep, but oftentimes wake through the night, and there's a book in progress in every room of my house (literally). Seriously, "Serious Kiss" is a winner, and Hogan is a hoot all her own. She has geared her website towards teenagers and it's a lot of fun, too.

I love doing the interviews - nothing better than picking an author's brain!
