When is old, too old?

When is old, too old? - 09/03/10 02:25 AM

I went to a wedding of two lovely Seniors in a nursing home recently and he is 90 and she is 87. They will share an apartment on site now and are the lives of the party always. As my mom says you're only as old as you feel and some of feel just fine, plus we think young. So how old do you think is too old???

If the parties involved have nice families, then it doesn't matter. But if that isn't in the equation, trouble sits ready
to pounce and age catches up with 'em fast. If kids help their
parents enjoy life, then I guess age is a factor. I can't imagine
myself ever getting married again. And I'm not that far behind
you, my dear!

I used to think that anything over 30 was too old! But now I don't think any age is too old for anything. If it's something you want to do and can do it then go for it!

yonuh,
Now that's a good answer! I agree, if a person can they should.
Life's short and it takes aging to realize how short!

It's strange how one's perception of "old" gets pushed back
when the years start piling up.
