Well ladies,
We got the word that my DIL does have MS. She's in the middle of a really bad episode, so will be treated for a couple days with steroids. Then, she will start on a daily injection medication.
That's all I have to say for now..need some private crying time...but, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Lynn, I PM'd you.

Oh fifty,
I'm so sorry to hear this news.
I'm going to pray that the medication will be good for her and help. I have to admit that I know very little about MS.

I'm sorry. I'll pray, too, for the mediction to be effective for her body, and that the doctors will use wisdom in her treatment. Keep us updated.

Fifty, I too am sad to hear this diagnosis. MS can be a devastating disease. I've known a few people with MS...one woman is someone I went to high school with for a few years. She's had MS for about 20 years now and except for a few rough patches here and there, has been living a fairly normal life for most of that time. I hope your DIL's medications will stabilize her...and I pray for healing, hope and peace for her, you and all your family.

Fifty, Got your message and sent one pack at you. It is so long I should I have published it. Sorry about that.

I pray you and Angie find the normalness back in your lives very soon. It will happen.

I've been sorry to hear this too Fifty. I also have two good friends with MS. The one who was diagnosed 18 years ago was a great musician. She played one last recital with me and hasn't played since. But she did have and still does have a great attitude. She's learned what she can do and how to take care of herself and has a great husband who helps. It sounds like your DIL has that plus a great MIL. My friend certainly does things differently than she would have otherwise, but she also leads a full, lovely life. The other friend is in her late 60's and goes to the gym every day. Unless she told you, you wouldn't know she has it.
My wish for your DIL (and for you) is that she will get the right medication to stabilize her condition right away and that she has as good an outcome as my friends have had.

Dahti,

So sorry to hear about your DIL's diagnosis. Will keep both of you in my prayers and hope they can find the right makeup of medications that will help stabilize her.

May God's richest blessings fall on you this day giving you strength for the morrow.

Any news fifty?

Has your DIL started her meds? How are you and everyone else holding up?

Please find a moment and keep us updated.
