Thanks for asking, Lynn.
Seems there's an insurance problem, now. My DIL's insurance was fine with paying for all the tests, but now that there's an MS diagnosis, suddenly they've told the nurse who is to order the meds and do the demonstration, that there's a problem, and she doesn't actually have coverage. (It's baloney, but it is causing a delay) AND they've told her that they're investigating this as a pre-existing condition. I'm sure it will all be worked out soon, but it's causing my DIL unnecessary stress, and a delay in her treatment. I told her to STOP BEING NICE and demand that my son, his employer, and the insurance company get this taken care of immediately.
Can you tell I'm a little rattled? It will be okay, I know, but why oh why, do things have to go this way? It' so frustrating!!!

Fifty,

I went through a similiar problem. The meds are about $1500 per month and they just don't want to pay. I was iniitially told I would have to pay $800 per month.

I called my agent directly and they contacted the insurance company (a big one) and told them the law of the contract. The first few times the pharmacy tried to fill the script they kept getting "overrrides" but when I moved, the new pharmacy has not had one problem. I just make sure I have a 3-5 day supply before I reorder. And it costs me $20 per month.

You are right this will work out but it just seems like a good kick when you are down. You can pm me and we can talk specific comapny's etc if you want.

Lynn

Fifty,
I am new, and don't really know you, but I am so sorry! I will put you, your family and DIL and my prayer list. I am disabled, but this is one thing I CAN do is PRAY! I have a very long one I go through daily and add to all the time!

Thanks for all the replies, y'all. We're learning to deal. One day at a time.

FIfty, try another pharmacy. I know this sounds crazy, but when Mom was sick we pharmacy shopped. We found the private, small town pharmacy to be the best.
