Hope Hannelore over time things work out.

Meanwhile enjoy your grand-daughter. True, she is a happy distraction.

HI HL!!!!! I've been away (again) for a few weeks but you're the first post I've visited and want to tell you I'm glad therapy seems to be working and hope that progress remains on the forefront. I'm so glad that your husband is listening and responding to the therapist...it shows a desire in him to change and I hope it remains so. Have a happy Mother's day dear heart and my prayers are with you.

I am truly touched that so many of you are still rooting for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Next week Hubby and I go to therapy together. I'm anxious for that to start. The last session I had with the therapist; … well it seemed as if he didn't know what else to say…and I ended up helping him along. Men…? Jeez, what can I say.

Just want to wish all you mom's and daughter's of mom's a wonderful Mother's Day. I know I'm blessed to still have my mother. Each day I spend with her is a gift.

Hugs to you all
Hannelore

I stopped going to my OCD therapist because we were talking about gas mileage, movies, etc. He must think I'm under control now.

Is that what I was doing? Facilitating? Yes, I guess I was.
Next time I'll just let him lead us...and if he doesn't know what else to say I'll keep my mouth shut and let him squirm. ...hee hee.

In counselling quiet times when no one speaks is also a tool.

Any news?

Dianne, glad to hear you are doing well. No sense in paying anyone to talk about the gas prices. Heck the prices are bad enough on their own. Why add the cost of counseling to it?
