LOL! My very first date, my father pulled the boy out of his window of his car by his collar! GAWD, it was so embarrassing! We went out and I was only 15 while this boy was already, I think 19, but we were in the same Country Club so my Dad said "yes." But I think he changed his mind because I was supposed to be home by 10:00 PM and this boy/man, got me home about 3 min. after 10 and my father was waiting outside, (we lived on a big estate so he was standing in the front of a circular driveway,) and he yelled at the boy about bringing me home late and grabbed him in his car by the collar to make his point!

I was crying afterwards and felt so embarrassed! I snuck and called the boy when I thought he had gotten home and said I was sorry for my Dad's behavior towards him and asked him if we could go out again! He said, "Uh, No, I don't think so, the way your Dad feels."

After that, the whole Country club of boys and the entire tennis circuit I played in, all of those boys, didn't ask me out, only if I could come to parties with my girlfriends!

Wonder why?

I was hard to protect though. I was a long legged wild child at that time.
