It seems as if charities, surveys and campaign calls are what we've been getting lately - that's of the ones we've been answering.
Police groups and Kid's Wish Foundation.
The Obama call my husband caught.
Two campaign survey calls.
So, what you're saying, Cookie, is these will keep coming.
Can you explain the hang-ups?

It seems unfortunately so, gims. But I still register because it does cut down on the window, gutter, air-conditioners, etc. "marketers" I use to get calls for donations to support our State Police. But when I would ask what state I lived in, they would could not answer that question immediately. I have a few relatives that work for the state police and they said never give money to these types of calls because they do not call people on the phone.

As far as the hang-ups, it is my understanding that that is a computer calling several numbers at time, and you may be the second, third, or fourth person that picks up the phone. The first person gets the message and the rest gets hung up on.
