It does not seem to be a problem at least with me. I take a shower, use your wonderful, extremely lathering, smell good soaps and then dry off and use the alcohol. I also used it under each breast when I was getting a rash. It cleared it up when 'nothing' else would! Just an update...my stepdaughter LOVES the Crystal and is VERY please. Nothing previously had ever worked for her. Also, I got a friend and her husband on it, too. and they BOTH are amazed.
