Hey I had to look up the first one myself and haven't a clue what it means...go figure!

Today is Sunday and I am going to a shower,
my granddaughter is the woman of the hour.
In her belly is my great grandchild,
I am hoping todays weather remains sunny and mild.
The party will be held in the yard by the pool,
I'm not taking my bathing suit, hell, I'm no fool.
Just imagine if you will, a big balloon in a suit,
Guess I don't look to shabby, but my horn I can't toot.
In October if God blesses us, Emily will arive,
to make her as good as can be we will all strive.
I am asking for your prayers that she's born okay,
so she can thrive and grow stronger day after day.

The items people give for showers nowadays is amazing, wedding
especially. The gifts I've seen at wedding showers lately are
as big as what they used to give for the actual wedding. Haven't
been to any baby showers lately. But sounds like the same scenario.
