Just for fun, let's see how many of us can come up with a Valentine poem in honor of our significant other. What say U???
4 the ladies not in a relationship right now, if U R so
moved, U could do a poem on [love] or [Valentine's Day] or [Red hearts]...whatever! The subjects are endless!

Saint Valentine
Since Valentine's Day is but a week away,
Think I'll post whatever I'm wishin' to say,
'bout unity with this God-given mate,
Walkin' beside me, makin' life so great!
Hubby o' mine, I've jokingly named,
Wild Bill for fun, not for blame.
The man I love and wed long ago,
Is meek and mild, a sweet amigo.
Never heard him swear or even freakout,
He doesn't get angry, or sputter and pout.
The sunshine in a storm, the calm in a fuss,
Hubby's the most lenient,'tween the two of us.
Contentment is a wonderful thing,
Especially when wearing a wedding ring.
So grateful I took these wedding vows,
For I'm happy as can be in the here and now.

I usually just go with a spiritual flow,
When the urge doth hit, then I say so.
Poetry, to me, is an emotional release,
Writing it, warms thy soul like fleece.
We've an endless amount of things to rhyme,
Worldly subjects, if one has the time.
The problem might be, and I'm sure it's true,
People are busy, 'tis the conclusion I drew.

INTERCESSION
Been ponderin' events of another place'n time,
For Jesus' last days on earth, keep comin' to mind.
I see The Lord ridin' a donkey down the road,
Crowds line both sides, just as the story is told.
Now there's Jesus in the Upper Room,
It's The Last Supper, Peter's feet He grooms.
Then I see Christ, hanging nailed to a cross,
Though He's in a tomb, nothing has been lost.
Death no longer has hold of spirits, don't you see,
Jesus, He done paid the price, for souls like you and me.
Christ is risen! Rejoice precious friend!
See you in Heaven, when this life doth end!!!
