I write, and I write, then write somemore, still not happy as I send my manuscript out the door. It comes back with her comments all written in red, by the looks of the redness, oops, I must be dead. But then I read more, and her comments are neat, she says that my story is charming and sweet. It still needs some corrections, and those she did mark, she has assured me my writing has not been just a lark. Well, finally my manuscript to a publisher is ready to go, if it's as good as we think, I will rake in some serious dough! She listened to exactly what I wanted, Now I look like me, not scared and haunted! The color is a light sunny blond. It’s short, resembling the cut from Goldie Hawn! I can shake my head, this way and that, It looks like it’s been combed with a fluff and a pat. Oh dear sweet hairdresser, I thank you so much. Yes! You got the knack, you got the special touch! It has taken three years, maybe even five or eight! Till I found you! Thank God it’s not too late. I walked in late one evening and decided to get it cut right then and there. It's funny because the person cutting it, I couldn't tell if it was a man or woman. I still don't know. The cut was short and sassy and I LOOOOOOOVED it. Went back weeks later and the person was gone, fired for coming to work drunk I was told. I haven't had a good cut since. In my entire life, I've actually had 1 haircut I really liked. And that was by a high school classmate, just before we went to Washington, D.C. on our senior trip.
