This has been the coldest winter in history here in the desert, some desert, feels more like the north pole. No snow in the valley but the dampness from the humidity is bone chilling. My furnace has run nonstop and my gas bill which has NEVER exceeded $36.00 is now near to $100.00 and rising... Maybe this summer I won't gripe about the heat??? jabber Member Registered: 02/17/05 Posts: 10032 Loc: New York State	High temp in Miami today is 56 degrees. Burrrrr... I have friends who went to The Villages in Florida this week. What a mistake that was. If they wanted to freeze and shiver, they could've stayed here. It is just too cold these past few days. It seems most of the country has been hit with below normal temps.
