Yes, what chatty said. I've had 3 of them in my life - they are pricey so it's not something I do often - but I was pleased with the results. It's a vanity thing - even though I won't know a soul when I go on vacation, I don't want to be the looking like a beached white whale!! I know you won't Dotsie, because you are still slim.

Cover your face--good idea but you're going to have to watch for spots on your back, legs and private parts. No kidding. If you have a yearly Pap, have your gynecologist check for moles.

I've had three precancerous spots frozen off my face. I'm a slave to sun block now. Especially the tops of my ears. Did you gals know that a person dies every hour from skin cancer? Nobody really takes it as seriously as they should.

If they find Melanoma on you, they will also take a chest x-ray and blood work because it can spread very fast. If they remove a melonoma, you'll be going to the Dermatologist a lot!

I've had the spray tans and like Chatty said, they don't clog your pores but wear sun block over it when you go out. The key is to exfoliate before you get sprayed.

If you can't afford to see a Dermatologist once a year for a full body check, have your spouse/partner or girlfriend look at your back. Compare any mole to pictures on the Internet. It isn't something to let go or ignore. You could die. Be careful.

Egads, why am I even going to Aruba if I can't get in the sun. You girls are ruining my trip. Just kidding, but certainly making think about my love of the sun!

Oh go to Aruba, girl!! Get some sun and some vitamin D while you're at it. Just use your sunblock, enjoy the sun and beach views from a canopy. I wish I were there!

Absolutely Dotsie, do whats best for you in your mind and go, go, go, to Aruba and dance the night away. Remember, if God wants you, you could sit in a huge tub of sunblock and he will pluck you right out, so you may as well just have some fun, right!

As of now, I'm not tanning before I go. I'll just bravely walk out on the beach with my white body and thick sunscreen.
