The judges slammed Ralph's dance last night, but I really enjoyed it!
We can't vote from here in Canada. I'd be voting for Kirstie too!

I agree, I think the judges are way too harsh, esp at the very beginning!! Sometimes it's enough to make me not even want to watch anymore...they way they treated Michael Bolton last season was (IMO) sickening and changed my opinion of (and respect for) these judges forever. Constructive criticism is one thing, but tearing a person down the way they sometimes do is uncalled for.

Good Grief! I cannot believe Kendra wasn't voted off! She always has some lame excuse for not dancing well. I don't want to hear her foul mouth or her PMS whoa's.

I was disappointed that Kendra didn’t get vote off. All of her dance moves look alike. She is trying to be too sexy with her dancing, when she should be more sultry or seductive. There is a difference. She looked like a stripper when she was dancing on top of the judge’s desk. She certainly was in her element then. She is a pretty girl, but she doesn’t have much of a personality. I hated to see Chris go last night, but he had not done as well the past two shows. He has a wonderful personality, and he was a gracious loser last night. I think Romeo is a charmer and a good dancer. Sweet young man. Chelsea and Mark are really the best I think, although Hines and Kym are pretty darn good! I do like Kirsti and Maks. They have fun chemistry. Ralph and Katrina are not bad but I don’t think they have the fan base as some of the others. Soooo, that's my dancing review.

I just can't see Kirstie as a senior! She's too vibrant. Not that other seniors aren't...you get my drift. I love her.

Maks really seems to enjoy having Kirsty as his partner this season. In the past shows, he has usually been grumpy and didn't smile much. He is grining all the time. I think Maks and Kirsti are just having fun! She does look good at 60. But I think all of us boomers are aging very well!

I admire Kirsty so much! I admire her courage and perseverence! There's no way I could get my hips and knees to move like that without ending up in the hospital, LOL! She and Maks do look like they're having fun, I think it's the first season that I've seen Maks looking even remotely happy.

Says a lot for the value of dance as a workout regimen, doesn't it? Yes, ma'am! Sure does.

I work out at home as well. I used to go to an early-morning class but had to change my routine after I tore my achilles tendon (not from exercising; it was a bad fall in the mud). My elder daughter is a whiz at this stuff and is very dedicated, so I mentally dragged myself into much the same stuff.
Once you get used to it and get a small library of exercise dvds that you like, you're good to go. No getting dressed in anything coordinated, no having to get somewhere in the weather, etc.
Most of my stuff is Billy Blanks and The Firm, but I have some Michelle Dozois, Amy Bento, and even a kettlebell workout. That last one is super hard and only for my best days. I have 2-lb weights, 5-lb weights, and a 10-lb kettlebell. That's all the equipment I think I need.
If you're looking around for stuff, I can recommend the Collage Video website. They have thousands of dvds and you can search by type, plus see a brief video of each so you can decide if you might like it. They have beginner to advanced levels, even routines for people in chairs, so all levels are covered.
Oh, there are also a lot of 10-minute-type exercises that allow you to do 1-5 routines that are 10 minutes each. Once I got used to working out at home, I really got to like it, so good luck!
