yonuh Member Registered: 06/14/06 Posts: 2447 Loc: Arizona	jabber, grey water is the water from washing machines, sinks, bathtubs, that is essentially clean (where water from the toilet isn't) and can be used for irrigation. Instead of letting the water go into the sewer, it can be re-used to water plants, bushes, trees, and vegetable gardens. Many communities allow grey water; some communities don't allow it at all. I understand using used washing machine water but I, however, put Chorox II in the loads, so I doubt if that would be good. I agree with waiting for a full load before running the machine. With such long, dry spells we certainly need to conserve the water resource. Thanks for explaining "gray water"! PS: I had typed converse as opposed to conserve. That's funny.
