Freecycle.org is about giving and getting, reusing and keeping items out of the landfill. How cool is that!!! whistle

Very cool, Jabber!

I keep meaning to tell you that a few years ago, I heard that a community near me was building a new community center that was going to feature as many recycled building materials as the developer could possible source.

I thought that was a wonderful idea. And the resultant building is very attractive. looking at it without knowing about the recycled plan, you would have no idea!

Love that developers are starting to think of how to do this!

There are now so many books and magazine articles explaining "Going Green" all with so many great ideas. I am trying them one at a time. It takes time and sometimes money and they don't always work either.
