We are still high 80s during the day - close to 90 - and around 60 overnight. My roses are just starting to recover from the brutal summer. The important thing is, they survived their first summer! And it was 90 degrees at 7 p.m.; WB and I were so amazed. We're used to Western New York and it never gets that warm here. And the temps are lucky to get to the 70s. So I ordered a cord of firewood and began bracing to face subzero temps. This morning hubby called me to the TV. Another reporter is predicting a mild winter.
