Recently read a fasciating first novel by an NABBW member, Olfet Agrama.

The book is called "At the Crossroad," and it's about 4 friends growing up in 1950 Egypt. Olfet is Egyptian born, and I believe this book is somewhat autobiographical - at least it is based on things she experienced while growing up in a financially privileged home in 1950s - 1960s Egypt.

The premise of her book: The decisions we make at every crossroad in our lives shape our destiny.

I highly recommend the book, which is available online via Amazon, Barnes and Noble and XLibris.

And more importantly, I am interviewing her about her life and the book tonight at 8 PM Eastern time. The call is f ree as usual, and will last an hour. If you'd like to listen in, and even join in, asking her questions, here's a link to access the call: Interview with Olfet Agrama on her book "At the Crossroad"
