Louisa Member Registered: 07/11/04 Posts: 2128 Loc: MA	My writing group sold 3 of its books to a lady who runs a gift basket business. She made baskets called "For the Love of Poetry" and included our book, Trail Blazers. We didn't even know what she had in mind exactly. They look so sweet and it's such a neat idea, I wanted to show everyone what the baskets look like. The link is below, if I did it right. I think it's a link that's going on the site soon. I've used the idea of putting a book in a basket with candy, bubbles, and other girly items. I love gifts like that.

Another friend of mine published some small poetry books called "Poetry Petals" and she sells them to florist who put them in gift baskets. I think this is a great way to market your books. Wish there was a "humor" basket... JJ

JJ JJ Once you have your book done, put it in a basket with some "fun" items - bubbles, dollar store joke gifts, whoopie cushions..bubble gum....use your imagination, I'm sure you can think of funnier things then I can at the moment call it a "basket case" and market it as a stress-relieving, fun gift
