JawJaw, what you do it first register. then if you have a book you are ready to part with, you put a note in the book that has your registration number and tells the person who finds the book to register that they found it and where. you can watch books travel literally around the world. I left on at the post office yesterday. it was my first one. it was gone this morning. so someone found it. they may not register it. it may sit at their house for a long time. then it may get sold at a garage sale or sent to a second hand store. someone else might pick it up and register it two years from now. It's not a site i will always watch. but it will be fun to see where my books have traveled--and wish the i could be there with them.
But mostly,it's just getting books passed around free. there is a place on the site where there are posts of books sent into the wild and where they are. you can look and keep tabs to see if any are in your area. it just sounded like a lot of fun, and i get to put books out there for other women.
anyway you look at it, all it can do is good. what do you think? Sandy
