I made it tonight...my first "baking" of the season (rotfpmp)....it is excellent and sooo easy to make. Salt and choc....how could one possibly go wrong!

Chatty...this is delicious!!! I made them last night..( the small balls version) my husband tested one out and was so enthralled that he did a little dance all around the kitchen!!..thank you!! thank you!!!

I think I'm going to make the popcorn balls. I think they'd be prettier and then you could give them to different people. I may make them for my 3rd. grader's class party. BTW - the note that came home actually said Christmas party!! Guess our school is not so PC. Praise the Lord!!

Chatty, I made the Popcorn Cake...huge hit. Had to make 2...they are so rich, and yummy. Had a hard time keeping away from the pan.

Here is my recipe I've made for years for cheese potatos. My family would not let me in if I didn't make them for Christmas every year. I'd like to try something else, but Nooooo - they insist on the cheese potatoes!
Boil 10 med potatoes with skin on, peel and grate
In a pan combine 1 Cup Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 1 Cup Milk, 1 Cup Whipping Creme and a pinch of Powdered Mustard. Cook on low until the cheese is melted. Mix with potatoes. Bake in a pan for about 45 minutes until hot.
As you can see, this is not a diet dish, which is why I only make it once per year.
