Chuck is so glad to be alive and as healthy as he is that he reaches out and grabs life with both hands. Sometimes he overdoes and pays for it the next day, He's spent most of today on the sofa. But with a big smile on his face. He'll probably be up and running again tomorrow. I have trouble keeping up with the man sometimes!

NHJackie, that is so good to hear. Gary wears himself out but it's doing yard work and then he has to come in when he's done and take a nap. I so wish he would've embraced walking or jogging with me before this happened. He walks 2.2 miles in the morning with me and never misses now.

Jackie and Ladybug,
I am so sorry to hear about your husbands illnesses...it is so scary to watch someone you love in pain or suffering...you women have been through terrible ordeals..and you are still standing...I agree with you Jackie about the value in taking antidepressants...I didn't realize how depressed I really was until after they took effect...i literally felt as though a I had been looking at the world through a gray veil...and when the meds took effect suddenly the world was filled with vivid colors...I never realized that I was missing them.God love you both.I hope your lives are on an upturn now.

AvalonBlondi, thanks so much for those kind words. After you go through something like this you are prepared for anything else bad that may happen. In fact, at first you wait for the other shoe to drop until you finally start breathing normally again. I've still got that weeks worth of antidepressants and the unfilled prescription order. At this point I think I've gotten through the worst of it and don't need them.
