Hi all, I was reading the thread on mentoring and Daisygirls story on how someone told her basically, she'd never amount to anything because she didn't have a college degree.

A few years ago I made a list of how great I am. And that is my suggestion. Write/type a list of all the great things about yourself. False modesty is NOT allowed [ever]. Be your own encourager for those times when there's no one around to do it for you.

And never ever let someone tell you, you are not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough or ladylike enough [my personal trial], because we are WE. We are who we are, we are who God made us to be. And he is pleased as punch at how YOU turned out. So let's make lists and see how wonderful we really are. And pull them out often.
