New words: anxious, cold, winter, distress

Yes, I'm anxious for sweet spring to set finally in,
For the winter wind has crept under my goose-pimpled skin.

I shiver and tremble at the dreary skies above,
The sound of scraping shovels is not what I love.

Icy finger tips turn the cold car keys,
Fog billows from my mouth as I cough and wheeze.

Distressed crows fly, like black clouds in the grey gloom,
Caw caw they scream; on telephone cables they loom.

Something catches my eye, and I bend down low.
Halleluiah! It's a purple crocus peeking out of the snow!
